Venue Description: Panama YMCA is a nonprofit association that seeks to contribute through the work of a committed volunteer in the construction and consolidation of a more humane society in which each and all members have the opportunity to contribute what they can and receive what they need for their implementation. In addition to our bilingual school YMCA School of Panama located in Colinas Del Sol, Vista Alegre, Panama, we have focused on providing social programs to the youth of social risk areas the opportunity to develop their skills in a safe environment. Our Main Social Programs: La Casita del Ocio Color is a successful project through the efforts and dedication of young YMCA leaders who offer their skills and talents to serve the community through volunteering. This project contributes to the development of artistic abilities of children from poor neighborhoods. Thanks to the volunteers who devote their spare time for the community, La Casita del Ocio Color since 2012 fulfills the mission to promote and develop creativity values, good manners, and enhance the skills and talents of children Curundú and Chorrillo, through culture, sport, music, art, and practice of ethical and moral values. The Happy Summer is a space summer vacation and time off for children aged 4 to 12 years aimed at social risk communities. They will be accompanied by qualified personnel in a suitable location with an organization, planning, and with concrete and precise objectives in educational and recreational.
